CASE STUDY 1:  FORD DRIVING SKILLS FOR LIFE
Pro Formance Group has been working with for Ford Driving Skills for Life (FDSL) for 16 years, since the program's inauguration.  Over its years, the award-winning driver safety program has trained thousands of young people and changed their lives forever by showing participants the value of safe driving.
       In 2019, FDSL has focused on the fact that it is turning “Sweet 16,” the
traditional driving age across most of North America, and is again planning an extensive tour that will offer more than 60 free, hands-on driver training sessions for teens and parents in 14 cities throughout the U.S.  More than 6,000 people are expected to get behind the wheels this year, with training provided by Pro Formance Group.
      Highlights of this year’s FDSL program include:
  • Innovative new sleep suit technology to demonstrate the dangers of drowsy driving
  • New training module to explain how to use ever-improving vehicle safety technology
  • Expanded program for the unique circumstances of driving in rural and emerging markets
  • Addition of a parent module to assist in teen training away from Driving Skills for Life events
  • U.S. communities that are new participants in the program’s hands-on training
CASE STUDIES 2 and 3:   Client Experience: Barrett-Jackson Auction Company
Established in 1971 and headquartered in Scottsdale, Ariz., Barrett-Jackson is a leader in operating collector car auctions and automotive lifestyle events. 
      The firm specializes in providing products and services designed to reach classic and collector car owners and automotive enthusiasts around the world and produces “The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions™” in Scottsdale, Palm Beach, FL., Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun and Las Vegas, NV.  

      Pro Formance Group has initiated lead generation for Barrett-Jackson's associated products and services at each of its auction sites through on-site experiential activities.
      For the past 15 years, PFG has designed and executed ride-and-drives for Ford at all Barrett-Jackson Auctions, and since 2009, has handled all responsibilities for Ford's event data capture at these events.

FARECLA:  Pro Formance Group has supported Farecla's one-to-one marketing at special consumer events, providing activation and follow-through.  Farécla Products Ltd. is a manufacturer of surface finishing products used on a wide variety of substrates. Since 1952, Farécla has provided surface finishing solutions to automotive bodyshops, detailers, boat builders, wood workers, composite manufacturers and other industrial applications and its products are available in over 120 countries.

Randy Bleicher – President and CEO 
​
Randy joined the PFG team in 2003 and is the source of one of PFG’s largest clients, as he developed the Ford Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) program and continues to manage this successful nationwide program.     
       Prior to coming to PFG, Randy entered the automotive arena working at the famed Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving, and served as its chief instructor for many years, eventually becoming head of all special operations, where he focused on designing consumer ride-and-drive programs for a variety of manufacturers.  It was this expertise that brought him to PFG.
       Randy became President and CEO of Pro Formance in 2018, and is confidently leading the team with his business knowledge and experience in the event management field.

Al Hunt – Vice President, Detroit Operations 
Before joining PFG in 2006 and immediately securing the highly successful nationwide Ford truck evaluation tour called Bold Endures, Al spent almost 30 years working for automotive companies Ross Roy, Inc. and Sandy Corp.
        His experience as a technical writer, product specialist, location scout and team manager taught him to navigate the sometimes difficult waters of the automotive ride-and-drive circuit.
        Al’s PFG office in Detroit is invaluable to the growth of the company. Al was instrumental in earning the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction Ford ride-and-drive business, which has been going strong since 2010. He is also the creative and driving force behind the development and evolution of PFG’s data capture system.

Kim Coe – Controller 
​
Kim comes to the PFG team with more than 30 years of accounting and management experience. Prior to becoming a Pro Formance consultant in 2014, Kim worked closely with Drew DeGrassi at Firebird Raceway in Chandler, Arizona, just a few miles from the current PFG offices. 
      After running her own accounting firm, Kim took a full-time position with PFG in early 2018. As controller, she is responsible for managing financial statements,budgeting, event accounting, payroll, human resources accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Dave Drimmie – Vice President, Canadian Operations
Toronto, Ontario-based Dave Drimmie joined Pro Formance in 2013. Dave was brought on board to launch the Ford Driving Skills for Life program in Canada, and his 15-plus years of executive level experience in the automotive arena served him well in that endeavor. The Ford DSFL program north of the border has grown substantially since he assumed a management role of the operation.
      Before joining the PFG team, Dave was Vice President of Marketing and Communications and Senior Advisor for the Pirelli World Challenge, a professional auto racing series in North America. He was also the Editorial Director for ModifiedMagazine, a monthly periodical which included reviews and technical articles on a wide range of vehicles in the aftermarket parts and design segment of the industry.

Tresco Boutard – Program Manager / Road Producer 
​
After several years as a lead mechanic at the Bondurant School in Chandler, Arizona, Tresco accepted a road producer position with PFG in 2011. His skill as a designer and fabricator and his exceptional work ethic has helped PFG to become more efficient, and as a consequence, our clients benefit from a more professional presentation on the road. 
      Tresco’s main duties include on-the-road management of the Ford DSFL teen driver education program, as well as management of the Barrett-Jackson ride-and-drive instructor team and producing the Ford ride-and-drive program at the annual Las Vegas Auto Show.
