The Ford Driving Skills for Life (FDSFL) program was established in 2003 by the philanthropic arm of Ford referred to as the Ford Fund. The FDSFL program, through behind the wheel driver training, media outreach and high school involvement, addresses the tragic fact that several thousand teens are killed each year in the United States due to car crashes.

PFG has been an integral part of the FDSFL program since its inception, and is involved in all logistics as well as curriculum, course development, and safety standards adherence. PFG played a large role in taking the concept of DSFL and turning it into an award winning hands-on driving program that has reached more than 50,000 teens to date.
